Holy Huddle: Mother Lainie+ would love for you to join her on January 5 at coffee hour after the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. services to discuss our learnings from the Advent bulletin experiment.

Sister Jose Shelter In order to support the women of Sister Jose’s Shelter, we will be handing out gift cards for parisioners to shop. See Gillian Borden in the Narthax following the service. These $25 cards can be used at Walmart or Target to shop for new items for the women of Sister Jose’s shelter. Much needed items are pajamas, zip up robes or house coats -all sizes are needed. All items should be new and unwrapped. Please have fun shopping, anything will be appreciated and helpful. You are a blessing!!

Tax credit submission for Imago Dei Middle School Tucson's Imago Dei Middle School is a free private Episcopal school serving children from low-income and under-resourced families. Because the school doesn't charge tuition, we rely on the kind generosity of donors like you. An easy (and ultimately, free!) way to support the school is through the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit. Married tax filers can donate up to $2,910; single tax filers up to $1,459. This is a credit that directly reduces the taxes you would otherwise pay to the State of Arizona, so it doesn't cost you more money. Private school tax credit gifts must be made through a Student Tuition Organization (STO) and Imago Dei recommends the Arizona Episcopal Schools Foundation at AZ-ESF.org. There you will find much more information and the simple steps needed to make your tax credit gift. New Book Group Coming in January Do you ever feel like you’re just not always the person Jesus calls you to be? You’re not alone. Most of us struggle with expectations and a sense of “falling short” in our Christian lives. If you’re an imperfect, unfinished, yet earnest believer who longs for some community discussion about the challenges of spiritual perfectionism, the Sharing our Spiritual Journeys (SOSJ) group is offering a wonderful book study for you! For four consecutive Thursdays beginning Jan 9 from 10- 11:3- a.m. or 2-3:30 p.m. Dave Dutra will guide us through Messy Spirituality, a fairly short yet transformational book by the late Michael Yaconelli. Women’s Bible Study We’ve concluded Women’s Bible Study for 2024. Please stay tuned for the announcement of what we’ll be studying in 2025.
